Growing up on Delaware’s Eastern Shore, Brian developed a love for fishing as soon as he could hold a rod. After graduating high school in 1991, he followed his passion to the Florida Keys, where he began working on charter boats. In 1994, Brian earned his captain’s license, marking the start of his professional journey as a licensed mariner.

Mott Ridge Charters welcomes anglers of all skill levels and ages to come and explore the inshore and nearshore waters in search of a catch they’ll be proud of. Mott Ridge Charters has full and half day charters for Trophy Red Drum, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Stripers (Rock Fish), Puppy Drum. Fishing from a 24’ Skeeter bay boat, gives up to 4 anglers plenty of room to fish and ride comfortably.

I’m Captain Donnie Davis. I own and operate D.O.A. Charters on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. As you can see, this is not your ordinary charter site, and I will strive to make sure that your experience aboard the DOA is also far from ordinary. And while our goal is always to put some fish in the box, I want to make sure that it is as exciting for you as possible. I specialize in light tackle fishing. Plainly put, we’ll try to catch the biggest fish that we can while using the lightest possible tackle. It is also my hope that you will not only catch some fish aboard the DOA but also that you will learn something about the resource that we are using.
